Those Who Care

Tab 2-Caregivers

Caregivers Au Lait!

coffee counter

While most may not think of the barristers at Victory as “care-givers” the people who shop there for their favorite drinks, pastries, and smoothies would say differently.  Week by week they serve us by coming early, leaving late, and by planning times to bless the church body and conferences with delectable delights and “specials” each month.

Laurie in coffeeshop

One of the “two Lauries”, (Birch and Sotelo are regulars and keep the place hoppin[) Laurie Birch is one of the two partymakers at the counter, with her jovial charm, her wit and most of all her being able to make everyone comfortable, down to the newest stranger.  Now working in the coffee shop for a couple of years, you always see her laughing it up with guests, and being sensitive to those coming out of intense spiritual moments in the Sanctuary.

behind the counterShe may be only one of the great gals in the coffee shope who serve from week to week, but she is truly a country girl, and a pleasure to feature her as a CAREGIVER this month at Victory Christian Center!

Thanks Laurie, and the whole Coffeeshop Staff, for all you do and what you give to others!

Presenting iServe

Tab 4-iServe

iserve Karren

Karren Green, Administrator of "HELPS", is in contact with staff and leaders throughout the church, assisting them in finding adequate manpower and giftings to forward their ministry. She receives request AND volunteer forms from iSERVE on the HELPS site, and helps match people to ministry, and to relationships, in our "catch and release" concept of ministry.

Some needs are for a one-time assistant, during a conference, or on a project or outreach, but some like the bookshop are ongoing, and need ongoing help on a rotating basis, as this ministry not only serves the congregation and visitors, but also staffs our online bookstore with shipments arriving and leaving daily.

Using our online iServe form can give us an idea of how many hours, days or even weeks that you could contribute to an important ministry or conference.  Much of what we get done for the Kingdom is done in synergy, with others, with a common purpose.

Don't miss the opportunity to make great relationships working side by side with those who serve among you.

The greatest relationships you can make in the Body of Christ are from serving together, and learning the awesome stories of those that God has brought to Victory as family.
